Bibs Bottle (glass part)

If you don't already have them, you need to buy additional parts in the desired color along with the glass bottle.

The BIBS bottle is an essential piece of equipment for your baby or toddler, especially if he is already a fan of the BIBS pacifier. 

The biggest advantage of this bottle is its well-known anti-colic BIBS nipple made of rubber, which imitates the shape and texture of the mother's breast. (purchased separately!). This helps the baby to accept the bottle, but also reduces the chances of weaning from breastfeeding. It is made of premium borosilicate glass, which is more resistant than ordinary glass and does not release harmful substances into the contents of the bottle.

The glass bottle is available in two sizes (110 ml / 225 ml), and the size of the nipple is the same for both sizes of the glass bottle.

Advantages of the Bibs bottle:

• Made of borosilicate glass. Extremely durable first-class material resistant to extreme temperatures that is completely safe for contact with food because it does not release any harmful substances. It is resistant to scratches where bacteria can accumulate and multiply.
• Simple to use. Due to the quality of the material, the glass bottle and parts can be put in the freezer and dishwasher, and the glass bottle itself is safe for heating in the microwave oven and dissolving the contents in hot water.
• A rubber pacifier that imitates a mother's breast. Identical in shape to the teat on the popular BIBS Color pacifier, the shape and texture of the BIBS bottle teat resembles a breast and encourages the correct sucking technique that the child also uses during breastfeeding. This helps the child to identify the bottle with the mother's breast, which makes it easier to accept it, and at the same time reduces the chance that he will reject the mother's breast after getting used to the bottle.
• Anti-colic pacifier made of natural material. The valve on the teat made of natural rubber reduces the amount of swallowed air during feeding.
• Replacing the suction cup allows you to choose between two flow rates. When replacing the suction cup, it is possible to buy suction cups with slower (S) and faster (M) flow.
• Bottle parts made of material that is 100% safe for contact with food.
• Protective bottom. It helps prevent the bottle from breaking, is non-slip and enables the bottle to be placed quietly on all surfaces.
• Collapsible funnel. Reduces wastage of formula or milk.
• Anti-leak stopper. For easy and hygienic storage of the bottle when not in use, to prevent the contents from leaking.
• Easy to maintain. The glass bottle can be sterilized in a microwave oven, boiled in hot water and washed in a dishwasher. Additional parts can be washed in the dishwasher and sterilized by pouring hot water over them. Sisac is maintained in the same way as BIBS Color mulberry - by pouring hot water.
• Possible change of appearance! When you want a different look of the bottle, order additional parts in a different color! 

Maintaining the Bibs bottle:

Before first use:

• Disassemble the bottle and boil all parts in hot water for 5 minutes.

Further maintenance:

• Sisac sterilize before each use by pouring hot water over it and letting it soak for 5 minutes. Let it air dry.
• Glass bottle, protective bottom, anti-spill cap, cap and screw disassembled, wash with hot water and detergent or in the dishwasher. Then pour hot water over them to ensure the removal of detergent residues. Allow all parts to dry before reassembling the bottle.

Replacing the sucker:

For safety and hygiene reasons, the suction cup must be replaced every so often 4-6 weeks.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The rubber pacifier is subject to change. The rubber pacifier is a natural material, soft and elastic, which is why babies love it so much. But this also means that it is sensitive to high temperature, sunlight and moisture, which accelerates the aging of the material. If it is used for too long, the pacifier will change its shape and size, and if the child gets used to the changed pacifier, it is possible that he will reject the new one. Therefore, we recommend changing the pacifier regularly.
• The rubber pacifier must not be sterilized in sterilizers and microwave ovens. For the above reasons, a rubber teat is too delicate to be sterilized by any means other than soaking in hot water.
• Replace the suction cup at the first signs of changes and damage.
• The glass bottle is microwave safe. Parts and sucker not! Also, considering that during heating in a microwave oven, the so-called localized heating of the contents, we recommend that the contents of the bottle be mixed before feeding.
• Glass bottle and parts are freezer safe. Sisac no!
• The glass bottle and parts can be washed in the dishwasher. Sisac no!
• Borosilicate glass can break. Although it is much stronger and more resistant than ordinary glass, borosilicate glass is still - glass. Under the influence of a sufficiently intense external force, it can be broken.

BOTTLE WARMERS 

Due to the wide range of bottle warmers on the market, BIBS has not conducted bottle tests in each. It cannot guarantee that the BIBS bottle will be compatible with any of the heaters on the market and cannot recommend heating the contents of the bottle in one. You can heat the contents of the bottle by placing the glass bottle in a microwave oven or placing it in hot water.

BOTTLES STERILIZERS

Due to the wide range of vial sterilizers on the market, BIBS did not conduct vial testing in each. He does not recommend sterilizing any part of the bottle in sterilizers, but only in microwave ovens or soaking in hot water. Also, due to the sensitivity of the material, the rubber pacifier must not be sterilized in any type of sterilizer.
